Nursing Zen is the brainchild of Jerome Stone, RN, <br>Author of Minding The Bedside, Nursing Educator, Meditation Instructor and Keynote Speaker.
Hi there, my name is Jerome and I’m a Registered Nurse with over thirty years experience in a variety of health-care settings, including pain management, hospice care, ICU, and research in complimentary and alternative medicine. I’m also a long-time practitioner of meditation, with an emphasis in the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism and an interest in Christian and Kabbalistic contemplation.
I am a published author and blogger, educator and key-note speaker on the topics of stress management and resiliency (aka – “bounce”), a mindfulness and meditation instructor, and consultant for wellness programs within hospitals and healthcare organizations.
In addition to my Nursing degree, I also hold degrees in Environmental Education and a dual-Masters Degree in Comparative Mythology and Depth Psychology. I live in Boulder, Colorado with my wife, Jill Siegel-Stone, and our son Noah. Besides my love for my family and for the practice of and instruction in meditation, I also love the outdoors, nature, cycling, reading, writing, good movies and music! I also love to meet new people so feel to drop me a note here.
